Mark Harrell Band
A jammin' horn section, screaming guitar, masterful keyboard, flashy drums, appropriate bass, and absolutely perfect production are in store for you on "GUNS AND HAIRCUTS," the 2003 release from Mark Harrell. This keyboardist and songwriter is one of the best around. A sought-after session musician and member of Moon and Starz, the band that backs music and comedy legend Richard Bowden, Harrell pens most of the cuts on this ten-cut treasure. Harrell's voice is concert perfect and his delivery is energetic and entertaining. The songs are joyful, funny, and at times, just outright zany. With a big band sound, a jazz sound, and stellar performances from all involved, I find this to be one of the best offerings of its kind.

Kelly
My repertoire covers favorites from the classic rock era such as The Beatles, Simon and Garfunkle, James Taylor and Jim Croce, to the newer pop hits of today. In addition to guitar and vocals I play harmonicas, thereby adding an extra "voice" to my sound. I also utilize a loop sampler. This is a footswitch-controlled echo effect, which allows me to play two or more guitar parts simultaneously. Because it "echoes" the phrase that I have just played, nothing is pre-recorded, and each show is one-of-a-kind. This means that I have a fuller, bigger sound and can play a wider variety of music than many would expect from a soloist.

Sam Walker Trio
The Sam Walker Trio is composed of Sam Walker on guitar, Kyp Green on bass and Roy Snodgrass on drums. They have been playing together in the DFW area since 2001. This is a guitar trio in the tradition of the great guitar trios of Joe Pass, Barney Kessel and Jim Hall, among others. While the trio does perform a fair amount of original material, the majority of the repertoire comes from the long list of standard tunes favored by straight ahead jazzers, with an eye towards the lesser played, more obscure selections among those standards.

Odis
Hailing from Dallas, Texas, Odis got their first break when the band caught the eyes/ears of the Lex & Terry Radio Network at a live show. The DJ tandem asked Odis for a demo to play live on the air. And that was all it took to start an Odis frenzy on their nationally syndicated radio show. The response from the listeners was overwhelming. So much so, that Terry Jaymes then asked the band to play KDGE's Edgefest and recalls, ""It was very cool to see their audience grow from about 100 people to over 1,000 in just a couple of songs."" Odis continues to get live unprecedented airtime on Lex & Terry. With a back-to-basics approach, their style has been perceived as rather refreshing and unpredictable. Fans say that Odis can be compared to the likes of Maroon 5, Jamiroquai and/or Lenny Kravitz, only louder and with a ""unique, retro rock"" twist. The experts seem to lean more towards Billy Cox, Marc Broussard and/or Curtis Mayfield. Either way, the band believes they set new ground with their hybrid of independent modern rock and classic soul. The end result is a collection of songs with uncanny hooks and unforgettable melodies that will be stuck in your head for days.

Taking pieces of performers he loves from Sinatra, Bobby Darin, Tony Bennet, and Dean Martin, Derek has used their inspiration to fuel his career. Poo Live Crew
Poo Live Crew, how do you sum up such a band? How about long hard practices, intense stylistic studies, tons of research, hours of theoretical training, and gallons of beer. PLC is all that minus the intense stylistic studies, tons of research, long hard practices, and hours of theoretical training. We're heading in a new direction and trying to do something not every cover band does. Our goal was to come up with a set list second-to-none, carefully engineered, and put together in 8.5 minutes. Actually, the Poo set is a carefully constructed plethora of music from 1968 to 98. Not to exclude any genre. The Poo mixes in eighties, pop rock, love ballads, new wave, country, pop Divas, and even sitcom themes.
